Each colored bead represents a day and one of the four phases of your cycle–just move the charm daily to track your progress. Each phase has its own color, making it easy to see where you are in your cycle at a glance. Wear it on your wrist, wrap it around your water bottle, clip it to your backpack, or keep it somewhere you’ll see it every day.
The menstrual cycle has four phases: menstruation, the proliferative phase, ovulation, and the luteal phase. Each phase comes with different hormonal changes that can affect your energy, mood, and body. The bracelet uses four different bead colors to help you learn and visualize each phase of your cycle.
The red beads represent menstruation, or your period. This is Day 1 of your menstrual cycle and generally lasts around 2–7 days. During this phase, your uterus sheds its lining, which is what causes menstrual bleeding.
The four white beads represent the proliferative phase, which begins toward the end of your period. During this phase, your hormone levels begin rising and your uterus starts rebuilding its lining. Some people also notice increased energy during this time, making it a great phase for movement and exercise.
The pink and purple beads represent ovulation, when an ovary releases an egg. Estrogen is typically high around this time, and ovulation usually occurs around the middle of the cycle. The four pink beads with the purple bead in the middle help you recognize this part of your cycle.
The luteal phase begins after ovulation and continues until your next period. During this phase, progesterone rises as your body prepares for a potential pregnancy. Toward the end of the phase, you may experience PMS symptoms like mood changes, acne, bloating, or sore breasts.
A menstrual cycle starts on the first day of your period and ends the day before your next period begins. While an average cycle is often described as around 28 days, healthy cycles can vary, especially for teens. Tracking your cycle over time can help you learn what’s normal for your body.
Absolutely. It can take a few years for your menstrual cycle to settle into a predictable pattern. Your period may come earlier or later than expected, and some cycles may be longer or shorter than others. That’s one reason tracking your cycle can be especially helpful when you're first learning about your period.
Your body can feel a little different during each phase. You may notice changes in energy, mood, appetite, skin, discharge, cramps, or other symptoms as your hormones change. Tracking these changes alongside your cycle can help you recognize patterns and better understand your body.
Tracking your period isn't just about knowing when your next period is coming. It can help you understand your cycle, recognize patterns, prepare for your period, and learn how your body changes throughout the month. The bracelet makes cycle tracking simple, visual, and easy to incorporate into everyday life.
